A designed and constructed a Desktop PCB Milling Machine, so that I would be able to produce my own PCBs from plain copper-clad substrate! The machine uses an engraver tool connected to a cartesian robot, utilising stepper motors. This was my first foray into circuit board design, as well as challenged my skills in mechanical engineering, as I needed to fabricate the milling machine myself.

My control system featured an Arduino Mega, attached to a PCB of my own design. This PCB featured power supplies, terminals and 3 stepper motor drivers to control the machine in cartesian directions.
