Artifact-Robust Neuroamplifier and Data Acquisition Module
This is my current research thesis project! I am making a neuroamplifier and data acquisition module using off-the-shelf components to accurately read neural signals, while being able to withstand the effects of stimulation artifacts.
Through this project, I have gained and built upon many electrical engineering skills I did not have earlier, such as PCB design, SMD soldering (with reflow ovens), oscilloscope and lab equipment experience and digital circuit design (ADCs, interfacing with SD cards, microcontrollers).
I also developed a companion app to help control how the device functions using Python, and am currently developing a more powerful app that can display real-time neural recordings from the device using C++ and OpenGL.
